That’s for the infrastructure (roads to get to the stadium) for the bears privately funded stadium. Again, common for any development being built. This stadium will bring many other taxes that Illinois charges such as sales tax and gas tax which is the highest in country. The Illinois gov’t wants to charge the Bears property tax higher than every team’s privately owned sports stadium in the country combined…. Does this make sense to you?
