A perk to digital collecting is how companies are able to reward collectors. In this case Panini chose to reward set holders with up to 12 packs based on their set leaderboard ranking per sport.

Retail value on this would be:
12 x $25 = $300
(11 x $25) +( 1 x $150) = $425 if you qualify for FOTL

I expect this value to be much more based on secondary resale, and will revisit this post in about a week to confirm what the secondary value would be for 12 packs.

No one has foreseen that on top of seeing Messi, Mbappe and Haaland play on the same day, they all scored 2+ goals in each of their first two matches. Namely, 6 goals at least each their day of match so far.

I was 528 in PBC 1/1 count and famous EricWhiteback was 11 away, a safe distance behind.

Then today he bought 18 more 1/1.

With 17 in a single sweep, way ahead of me now.

One of true geniuses of Panini (#PaniniBlockchain as well) is the consistency in design and branding. Read in full.

The following are S1 to S3 in Basketball Kaboom. Slight variations year over year. Instant recognizability.

Big brands retweak their logo by minimal and artists charge them 9 figures.

For huge hobby brands like Essential Credentials and Exquisite, they have markedly different designs each year. It was truly unique but some super-branding is lost. Also some years stand out and some inevitable stay underrated or even overlooked.

This take is a bit contrarian but looking back each year of Kaboom is super popular. Action shots and moments speak, while different years don’t inter-compete but provide a high floor. And they look awesome together across years.

Do you see what I see? Do you agree? Again, in collecting, the less is more, and consistency is the key in branding.

Essentially we could be seeing these too All Stars as the major pieces to a trade between the Bucks and Celtics happening before the draft tomorrow night.Both teams will make out due to the fact both are serious impact players.The reason I chose these too digital cards is because of a post I saw yesterday kind of talking down on Panini BC and how or why someone would position a PBC NFT over say a Top Shot moment/video.I do enjoy watching moments and see there value.Having said that I also love looking at my PBC cards and appreciate there artistic beauty equally.Color way,,animation,quality of photo etc. The pic of Giannis is incredible,in awe of what he's done in the weight room improving his body over the years.The Zebra print on the Jaylen card,the animation when you move it on your device hits different than just a screenshot.Just showing the dynamic quality of a few of my fav cards on a day when these two might be linked forever!
