@0xlarp@JordaySloan@ethereum Ethereum has big problems. But it might be easier for #ETH to overcome the problems over the next 3 years than it is for a competitor to reach mainstream level. The world will have several decentralized computers, Ethereum is currently the leader and has a big head start.
@0xlarp@JordaySloan There were probably alternatives but they didn't get mainstream traction. #ETH competitors don't have the traction, security and availability that @ethereum has proven to have. Solana went completely down the other day, that is a worst case scenario and is not acceptable.
@ImpulseNFT@0n10nDivision The integration with coinbase wallet. It's a game changer for lowering the barrier to entry of most people.
You have crypto in coinbase, you can seamlessly move it to the coinbase wallet and buy NFT using your coinbase wallet.
@CryptoAM17@coinbase Why are you surprised? #NFTs are all the hype now and coinbase NFT is likely going to lower the barrier to entry for most people. + signing up was highly marketed and is FREE. If they had gotten less than 1M signups I would have worried.
@ltc_angel Hi , hope you are doing good. I have minted my NFTs artwork on opensea and want an influencer to promote it. Could you please vouch for my nft artwork ? I will pay for your services
@Fwiz If you're referring to the #nft collections that have no historical value or utility behind them then you're 100% correct. They are a red flag. But that's the noise that accompanies disruptive trends.
#Coinbase launching its own #NFT trading platform reminds me of when #Apple launched Apple Music. A huge market segment will have access to buying and selling NFTs overnight. Will @opensea be able to compete long term?
Your #NFT collection is your new way to show the world what you're about. What is going to be the mechanism that will be used to prove to people that you owned a specific address after you lose the private key to it?
@VictorLeeJW Twitter do it, Instagram does it next followed by Tiktok followed by Snapchat. The only constant that I see is that all of them will be using @opensea to help users select the #NFTs that they want to share. The real winner has to be #opensea here.
@FeanaaroFCR @SKYEXSTUDIOS Glad you learned the lesson for only .21ETH. For some it was much more expensive (pointing the finger at myself). Finding a good project is part science part art. This is my way of approaching this challenge now: https://t.co/aIniVqcqfP
@visual_baker Think of it like this. When they write the history book on NFTs, which projects will be mentioned in that book? These are the ones that are worth investing in at this point in time #cryptopunks#BoredApeYachtClub are 2 examples
@Hugz3afia Tell him that the original web was the web of information. Web 2.0 was the web of communication and Web 3.0 is the web of tokenization or #NFTs. Tell him to remember that you told him that. This ought to get him off his high horse in a year or two.
@TIME your FAQ section on the #NFT website mentions that buyers of a piece from your NFT collection don't get copyright of the material? What did they mint today?

Throughout the process, keep your eye on the floor of the collection in @opensea and buy off #opensea if you find a floor that is desirable. Factor in gas fees when buying off opensea.
If the current floor is equal or slightly different than the minting cost and the trading volume is not high (<5-7ETH), it probably means that the sale isn't going to end in a couple of minutes, so you have time to try different things.
