This proposal addresses an important need, but the absence of clear milestones is concerning. For years in the Cardano ecosystem, every Catalyst proposal was required to outline specific milestones as part of the funding agreement. Now, suddenly, because this is part of the budget process, that standard no longer applies?

Frankly, I find this inconsistency troubling. For example, there's a Catalyst proposal requesting 1.8M ADA to develop a mobile app—yet it includes no milestones. This is in stark contrast to previous proposals, including ones submitted by the same team within Catalyst, which did include milestones and clear deliverables.

Are we now in a position where we can ask the community for substantial funding without any plan or explanation of how the work will be carried out? Who is responsible for what? What parts will be delivered by IOG, and what will be delivered by the partners?

We need to maintain a consistent and transparent standard—especially when it comes to how community funds are used.

I spent the day away from my Mac on two flights to Spain. Which gave me time to think and write with no distractions.

I’ve written detailed plans for everything I intend to achieve this year. Which is going to take an incredible amount of work.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I need up my game. Spend more time working on the BIG things, and less on the SMALL things.

It’s time to build my team bigger and better.

Over the next days and weeks a lot is going to change with how we do things. In a very good way.
