1/ @animocabrands has proposed AIPs 4 & 5, these are live on Discourse for viewing. AIP 4 covers a novel staking mechanism to reward @apecoin and BAYC ecosystem NFT holders. AIP 5 proposes the size of the staking liquidity pools – 17.5% of the total token allocation over 3 years

I read this and… they are exactly who they say. Baffled that someone would read their words and think “these guys are definitely nazis”. Strikes me as willful / self-interested ignorance.

5. How did the founders meet?

We're all real-life friends with diverse backgrounds - Jewish, Cuban, Turkish, Pakistani. We started work on what would become the BAYC in February of 2021, and worked with a team of artists on the apes, the look of the club, logos, etc.
