A beautiful quote from an amazing @GloriaSteinem book. Yet another reason why equal access to sports is vital and why New York needs to remove these regulations now!

By only testing female athletes’ abilities, New York State is perpetuating the false, disgusting, sexist stereotype that women are inherently less capable than men.
In New York, a female athlete can get denied from playing on a "boys" team because her bra size isn't big enough, or because she can't touch her toes as well as a group of her school's faculty wants. We need to stop putting girls through hurdles and let athletes play sports.
Go read the article about me in the Bronx Times! As a female wide receiver and cornerback, my athletic abilities have always been questioned from the get-go. Learn more about my story and my fight against sexist regulations:

Female athletes deserve equal opportunities.
New York's regulations force girls to go through discriminatory extra hurdles to join male-dominated sports teams.
