PEC’s pilot Stem Camp gave students an up close look at the technology the National Guard uses to protect our communities, Sept. 22th.

PEC partnered with high schools to create a STEM Camp that showcased the jobs the National Guard has in cyber technology and security.

Thank you, Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum for a great visit and broadening experience.

Soldiers and staff visited the maritime museum during a leadership staff ride and luncheon, Sept 15th. The museum is home to the USS Razorback and the National Historic Landmark USS Hoga.

After a moment of silence to reflect on the loss and sacrifice of the 9/11 attack, Soldiers and staff from PEC stepped off on a morning ruck march to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the attack, September 10, 2021.

PEC riders held a motorcycle safety event as part of the 9/11 week of remembrance, Sept 9th.
Max Easter, staff and faculty branch chief, organized the event to refresh riders on safety, etiquette, and give riders at PEC an opportunity to reflect on the loss and sacrifice of 9/11.

PEC adds “Buddy Aid” course in all classes next FY.

Soldiers in the ARNG Support Maintenance Shop Inspection course were the first to receive the Buddy Aid course, Aug 6th.

"Buddy Aid" teaches Soldiers the correct actions to take in responding to victims of sexual assault.

Get into your ACFT flow at PEC

Miranda Combat Athletic Performance Center offers the Warrior Athlete Movement class (aka yoga) Thursdays at 1200. The flow is designed to increase joint mobility, and focuses on power movements associated with the ACFT.

Brig. Gen Dion Moten, assistant to the commanding general U.S. Army Cyber Command for Reserve Component Mobilization, visited PEC June 21th as part of an ongoing partnership with Ft. Gordon regarding the opportunities for training Cyber Soldiers.

Staff Sgt. John Stephens was promoted to the rank of staff sergeant in Militia Hall, June 18th. His father South Carolina state Sen. Vernon Stephens, his mother Hilda Stephens, and son John Stephens Jr., as well as many friends and coworkers from PEC attended.

Safe Travels, Chief!
CW4 Donald Renner, PEC property book officer, was given a fond farewell by PEC Soldiers and staff during a cookout at the Shiloh Pavilion, June 17th. Renner earned the Meritorious Service Medal, and received The Arkansas Traveler, PEC Pendant and PEC Eagle.
