Baseball should change the intentional walk rule. If a player is intentionally walked, they take second base. If a player is walked intentionally or otherwise in extra innings, they take second base. Pitchers should have to pitch to great batters a great batter should have to face a great pitcher. These walks kill the game and hurt fandom. @MLB @Dodgers @BlueJays

From wildfire preparedness to staffing, from equipment failures to workplace culture, the problems within HRFE leadership are widespread and deeply concerning.

Two years after the Tantallon wildfire destroyed 151 homes, we still see no meaningful improvements in protocols, surge staffing, or protective equipment. At the same time, management has targeted our members simply for speaking out and standing up for their colleagues.

Chief Ken Stuebing and the current Fire Management Group have lost the trust of the fire fighters who serve HRM. Our members — and the citizens we protect — deserve leadership that puts public safety and professional integrity ahead of optics.
