In Balochistan,
The land of sorrows and pains,
In a father’s absence,
A son’s tireless quest goes in vain.
Zaheer Ahmed, taken away on a fateful night,
April 13, 2015—a memory that won't take flight.
Zeeshan Baloch, his son,
With a heart full of fire,
Searched for justice,
His father's fate to acquire.
For ten long years, he struggled and cried,
His voice echoed through the desert, his father's name to provide.
But fate had other plans,
A cruel hand to play,
Zeeshan too was taken in broad day.
And yesterday, his lifeless body,
Riddled with bullets cold,
A senseless murder, a story oft-told.
The sin of raising voice,
Of seeking truth and light,
In Balochistan, it's a crime, a deathly plight.
The family’s agony, their sufferings so grand,
A tale of enforced disappearances, in this troubled land.
The blood of the innocent,
And cries for justice,
The voices of the disappeared, echoing anew.
In Balochistan's streets, the pain and fear reside,
A cycle of violence, where hope seems to subside.
Yet, the struggle continues, the voices won't be still,
For justice, for truth, for the disappeared to fulfill.
The Baloch people's plight, a story to be told,
A testament to their strength, their hearts untold.

Zeeshan Zaheer was a dedicated member of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) Panjgur zone. He had been tirelessly campaigning alongside his sister for the safe recovery of their forcefully disappeared father, Zaheer Baloch, for the past ten years. Zeeshan was abducted by state-backed death squads on 29th of June from football chowk in Panjgur. Previous morning, his bullet-riddled body was found in Surdu area. He is yet another young Baloch silenced for demanding justice through peaceful means.
This is the grim reality of how the Pakistani state treats Baloch individuals who dare to raise their voices through non-violent resistance. The families of Baloch missing persons have endured years of harassment, threats, and psychological torture at the hands of the state and its proxy militias. When intimidation failed to break their resolve, the state has now resorted to cold-blooded murder. But just as their previous policies failed to crush the spirit of Baloch resistance, this one too shall collapse under the weight of our collective defiance.
Now is the time for the Baloch nation to unite beyond tribal, regional, or political differences. It is time to stand shoulder to shoulder with the families of the missing persons, to expose the brutality of the Pakistani state and its death squads to the world. The murder of Zeeshan Zaheer is not just a tragedy but a call to action.
We urge every conscientious Baloch to join the BYC protests across Balochistan. Let our unity be our strength, and our resistance be our tribute to Zeeshan’s sacrifice. Let the world know that the Baloch will not be silenced.

Brother of abducted Asma Baloch rejected the video statement of his sister taken under pressure. He claimed that it is very easy for the law enforcement agencies to arrest those who posted a video of her sister on social media.
