Development works at Overdale are progressing. Hoardings are being installed around the site, and behind them, work is underway to clear the site so that groundworks can start.

Last month, four of Jersey's faith leaders blessed the temporary facility for Jersey Crematorium funeral services.

The blessing reflects the normal practice of marking the opening of a new facility.

From today, Jersey Crematorium funeral services will temporarily relocate to the Members’ Room at the RJA&HS.

This move is to ensure services continue to be conducted in a peaceful setting during the construction phase of the Acute Hospital at Overdale.
