Neela is finally on her way home! 💜

We're so incredibly happy for Neela and her family. It's not often that we see reunions after over a decade, but microchips and lost reports reunite animals to their owners every day!

On Friday, someone brought in a cat that they had seen around their neighborhood over the past few years, but had never been able to catch. Today, Neela's family got the phone call they thought would never come.

Neela went missing back in 2014 after slipping out the door while her family was moving. They submitted lost reports, posted flyers, walked through our stray kennels, and more, but no luck. They hoped she was being taken care of somewhere, but could never be sure. Until now.

Judy passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026.
