The Queen's speech confirmed that there is no trans conversion therapy ban.
Not only that, but they've added an exclusion that means it's not a ban if the person "consents" to conversion therapy.
No-one consents to conversion practices. They are coerced.
This is a mess.
We have extended the deadline!

NHS guidance on single-sex services and spaces has served staff well for many years
Written by a CNO for England, it’s based on individual needs and inclusion
The muddied @EHRC guidance adds nothing. It’s appeasement of objectors to Trans rights, potentially harms Trans people
Why do I do queer history?
Well, during #LGBTHM22 the quote that keeps coming back to me, making the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end, is by Ancient Greek poet Sappho:

Shout out tonight to all the NHS Chief People Officers/ HR Directors and their teams who are doing a really tough job handling VCOD, the human emotion it brings, the legal aspects and a Govt that changes its mind. Collateral damage is huge.

Justice for LGBT veterans. No more delaying, too many have already died: restore their pensions and compensate missed contributions, strike off their criminals records for “homosexuality”, remove their dishonourable discharges, and give back their medals! https://t.co/AqQ4Fk08ki
A true trailblazer of the trans community has left us. April Ashley MBE was the definition of grace and humility, despite having fought hard throughout her life for her place in society.
A true queen. Gone, but never forgotten. Rest in power.❤️🏳️⚧️
First they came for the students, and I did not speak out—because I was not a student.
“…the university seems to place the hypothetical opportunity for some staff members to challenge and diminish trans identities over the safety and wellbeing of its students”

A doctor’s letter or a report is mandated to change the sex on your passport. Yet illogically Lord Reed at @UKSupremeCourt says the sex on that identity document is not a particularly important facet of the appellant’s identity; dismissing their case for a gender neutral passport

The @metpoliceuk made prejudiced assumptions about gay men and mishandled the serial killings by Stephen Port. None of the officers accused of homophobia were disciplined. None referred for misconduct by the @policeconduct. Five went on get promotions https://t.co/aJbnK47H6D
