ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Jacob Weber, Tennis: Jacob had a stellar end to the season, closing out three singles matches with straight-set victories. His wins helped the team secure 2 end of the season wins over Defiance and Archbold.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK, April 28: Gwen Huddle, Track & Field: Not only did Gwen secure two spots on the podium at the indoor state meet in February, she set a new school record for the 3200m with a time of 11:19.6 at the Perkins Invitational. We look forward to her spring season!

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Tristan St. John, Tennis: Tristan played great tennis at second singles with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Whitmer. He controlled the match with consistent groundstrokes, smart shot selection, and strong composure under pressure.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Mitch Velazquez, Tennis. Mitch began his senior season with a win, beating Bryan in a hard-fought match with scores of 6-4, 7-5. Throughout the match, Mitchell displayed strong shot-making and composure under pressure, closing out each set with confidence.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Evanie Shank, Wrestling: Evanie placed 6th at the state tournament. She qaulifed for state 3 times, 2 of those times becoming a state placer. She recored over 100 career wins and pins! She is Napoleon's girls all time career win and pin leader.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: George Eggers, Wrestling: George placed 5th in the State. He went 4-2, all of his wins came by pin. He set a school record for wins and pins in a season, also placing him in the state record book. He has the 4th best winning percentage of all time for NHS.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Arianna Kiessling, Bowling: Individual STATE CHAMPION bowling 198-248-257 =703 series capturing her second individual state title. 2023 and 2025.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Hayden Gerken, Basketball: Hayden has been instrumental to the postseason run. In the district finals Hayden came up clutch going 8-8 from the free throw line. He chipped in 5 rebounds and 2 steals to help lead the Cats to their first district title since '16

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Hayden Groll, Wrestling: Hayden claimed a district title. He is only the second sophomore at NHS to claim a district title. In his semifinal match he got a takedown as time expired to win; in the finals match he had an overtime victory to claim the title.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Arianna Kiessling, Girls Bowling: All District Team 1st place individual 671 Series and led girls team to a first place team finish and advancement to STATE. She is now a two-time State Champion!

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Ella Borstelman, Girls Diving: Ella was crowned the District Diving Champion and helped the girls swim/dive team claim the District Title. Ella became Napoleon's 1st State Champion. Ella finishes as the NLL Champion, District Champion, and State Champion!

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Parker Woods, Basketball: Parker had a big game against Clay on his senior night. Parker led the Cats to a huge win with a game-high 20 points. Parker also chipped in 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Way to go Parker!
