Today one of my @NHWelemschool Pride Pals came down to read our class a story. She was a student in my classroom last year. It made my teacher heart happy! #funinfirstgrade #makememories

Today we voted, created a tally chart, + carved a pumpkin based on our votes. We learned about pumpkins, predicted + counted the seeds using our math strategies. We completed numerous pumpkin-themed reading + writing activities, + ended the day with a treat! #funinfirstgrade

We are PUBLISHED authors! So proud of my first grade writers. Today we celebrated our Small Moment Story unit! #funinfirstgrade

Yesterday we had special visitors in our classroom! We read to a 6th grade buddy (or two) from @NHWgrade6. These 6th graders were my first group of 1st graders! #allgrownup 😭

Today we used the letters in "Explore" to try to spell other words! We didn't give up even though it was quite the challenge! #funinfirstgrade
