I have been taking some feedback on an elevator speech and a information page on my Portfolio and it is looking BETTER THEN EVER! Check Back in for an update next week #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A15: The meaning is that students should be processing and analyzing rather than just absorbing. I don't think this is possible because at its core I think social media is for entertainment first and information second. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A14:It is important for students to learn social media literacy because the amount of information kids and young adults now absorb from unreputable sources. So the literacy can help them identify the truth. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A13: The article states to remember that a criticism or negative comment is just one view and that you can learn from it take a deep breath and move on. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A12: It is better to talk in person because over social media people feel more comfortable saying worse things when they have a screen to guard them. When someone is face to face they understand they need to be calmer. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A11:Its the same as making sure you think about everything you say but for the internet. I think it is important before things get heated to take a moment to cool down and rethink whatever you were going to say. It never hurts to wait. #TEC207
@emjavendano@ScottRRocco This is a very smart thought. I was thinking about it as skills transferable to the outside world but betweeen classes is also important.
@ScottRRocco A10: The transferable skills that a student gains from the classroom are important from a world becoming more and more modernized. A student learning drive and spreadsheets is at an advantage when he gets to the professional world. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A9: I think this question is asked because many fear that on Edtech projects that require interaction that students will not work together. I think in many cases these fears come true and I don't currently know a good solution. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco It is important because students working togeter to learn is incredibly productive. One student may explain something to another in a way that the teacher might not find intuitive. This can be aided by EdTech. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A7: I think a core set of tools helps to simplify things for students and keeps stufff understandable and managable. Whereas if you are using a hundred tools it's a lot harder to learn all of them and stay organized. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A6: This article uses the fact that cauliflower went from little use to a lot of use in a short period of time. Edtech is the same going from limited uses in the classroom to many different uses seemingly all at once. #TEC207
