I competed seriously and spent 12 full days on this, losing over 250M Koen in-game, my time, and my mental well-being (from being targeted and monitored). Honestly, is this really what I deserve?
My main concern is: why add a new rule mid-tournament in a hard-to-see Discord channel instead of updating the website? If it was important, I could have been directly notified to follow it.
Of course, I contacted the staff for clarification on the 25th, but no one responded. I also demonstrated my honesty in the ABI content creator Discord and asked for the scores to be handled as fairly as possible.
Actually, there was an earlier issue as well. On the 25th, I was the only one being monitored in the tournament table, which caused my score not to update all day. However, the scores eventually continued as if nothing had happened.
During the tournament, a new rule was posted in the Discord announcements: “Any act of exploiting loopholes or game bugs (e.g., idling in livestreams to inflate stream time).”
I admit that I slept during streams, but I played about 18 hours every day. I’m confident that many other streamers, unaware of this rule, also streamed while sleeping like I did.
