I had the pleasure of joining @PaulCalandra at The Bridge Youth Ressource Centre to showcase the success of Canada’s first 3D printed house! We are grateful for the partnership between @nidus3d@uwindsor @habitatforhumanity & the Municipality of Leamington.
We are situated on traditional lands of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee. To acknowledge this traditional territory is to recognize the long history of the land and its inhabitants. 1/2
Excited to report: nidus3D has successfully printed builds using ready-mix concrete! Working with @Lafarge_Canada, and a @COBOD_Worldwide BOD2 printer, we developed a printable mix design that can be delivered off the back of a truck. Read more here: https://t.co/g36lAI1Q4H

Alberta's first #3Dprinted neighbourhood in 2023! We are searching for the communities and developers who want to make history in Alberta. Do you know groups that would like to meet the Alberta team with sustainable technology to solve the #housingcrisis?
Building homes is often a lengthy process- hurry up and wait, rinse and repeat.
Now imagine what you could do with all the extra time you'd have if your home building process took weeks instead of months? #3DCP bringing you from the ground up in a fraction of the time.
We would not be where we are without the amazing team we have today. Thank YOU for making nidus3D an amazing community that we are proud to be a part of 🤝#techtrade#3DCP
"Why 3D concrete printing?"
Simple - homes that are built to last, projects that can be completed in weeks vs. months, unparalleld design flexibility, and they are lower cost in both material and labour - the better question is why not 3D concrete printing?💭
We are still riding the wave of excitement from being featured alongside our founder Ian Arthur as Canada’s top Real Estate Reformers in Maclean’s Power List 2023 #3DCP

Inner #3DCP walls!
The difference between our outside walls that require insulation and internal walls that don't need it is key. External walls need to have a wider cavity to accommodate MPE/ insulation, internal walls don't require it, and have a unique benefit: soundproofness
