@ShagNeverLied@EManThamenace@MissLou601@wavy80baby I’m sure there’s a Royce Da 5’9 subreddit with other angry middle aged men that would love to hear this take. You should go find them and I honestly mean that in the most respectful way possible.
@ShagNeverLied@MissLou601@wavy80baby He chooses way better production and composes his songwriting much better.
A lot of people confuse good rapping with good songwriting. They’re not mutually exclusive.
@MissLou601@wavy80baby That’s not what he’s saying at all. There are plenty of great rappers who make great music who aren’t hitmakers.
Mick Jenkins, Smino, MF Doom, Tierra Whack
Royce just doesn’t make good music.
@YaAverageJet@wavy80baby It’s probably a classic to you subjectively, but objectively, very few people hold that album in the same standard as GRODT, Hell Hath No Fury, The Blueprint, The College Dropout or Below the Heavens.
@The_HNIC@wavy80baby People absolutely hold that against Em. It’s been widely accepted that everything he’s done since 2002 varies in quality
The difference is, Em has three classics (SSLP, MMLP & TES) and some of that music still holds up.
@tronko_la@TheHoopCentral Knicks went 5/20 from deep in the second half. Thats not a free throw issue. They also lost the point off turnover battle 24 to 7.
They also went away from their own mismatch, who put the Spurs in the bonus (KAT).
They settled.
@tronko_la@TheHoopCentral That’s what happens when your players commit dumb fouls early in the quarter and on the other end, you shoot mostly jumpers because you’re trying to avoid Wemby.
Also, the Spurs are way more athletic and aggressive at getting to the rim, which NY has struggled with all series
@SpursAreHere@TheHoopCentral Keldon played bad on offense but the Kornet minutes weren’t a problem today. They only lost those minutes by 3, which is very manageable.
It would be stupid to think he wouldn’t play his rotation players, can’t play guys 48 minutes.
@MarcellusESQ Nah… outside of that last turnover.. he’s played really great tonight. He’s a huge reason they just swung this game. He’s playing great on both ends
