Aurangzeb, wouldn't have ever imagined that the descendants of the people whom he oppressed, k*lled & forcibly converted would defend him with their lives.
Also, a movie where the king who was tortured to d**** because he didn't convert is somehow I**lamophobic. How cute!!!!
First in my bloodline to see a billionaire getting desperate and behaving like a cheap troll. And no Elon. Despite whatever you may think , India DOES have cheap, infact the cheapest internet at good speeds. There are gaps , yes but we are good enough to fill them.
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏
i just love arnab’s humour, the man that you fucking are 😭 his articulated his humour SO GOOD. he manages to slay every fucking time. people may call his journalism a little biased towards the current govt, but even beyond that, he has always been a nationalist first.
Extremely poor from President Musk, who ensured BYD didn’t enter the US for fear of his Tesla sales crumbling . And here making an issue out of our right for national security. A great entrepreneur but a v bitter man. Earlier went after Trump claiming his name is in Epstein files only to calm down later to ensure his business doesn’t suffer. Lol Musk.
Ouch!! That must hurt @elonmusk
No billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy- Indian or American.
Well said and well explained.
Sharp, on point and sarcastic 👏👌
AURA is so GOATed that
12 Indian opposition parties,
3 neighbouring countries,
billions of dollars in foreign funding,
and a trillionaire businessman are all trying to remove him from power,
yet bro is still standing strong.💀🔥

Democracy ≠ a free pass for vandalism.
FAFO season. I stand with Delhi Police!
Kamal Hassan is a staunch opponent of the BJP, as is his right in a democracy. Nonetheless, he stood with the government which is representing India. Now that is how one should be in opposition.
Even Modi ji, when in opposition, defended Manmohan Singh ji against Nawaz Sharif’s incredulous remarks.
Rise above the party politics and defend the nation as one.
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,

Also, if you want to do business, then comply with the local rules and regulations instead of gaslighting an entire nation. And NO, we don't need you. You need THIS MARKET. So instead of portraying us as damsel in distress, grow up. You can do better.
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.

Dear @elonmusk,
India is not your colony, and its telecom policy is not yours to dictate.
Before you lecture India on who really runs the country, learn the difference between a nation and a market you want access to.
Your Starlink pitch is a sales proposal reinforced with humanitarian concern, is a gratuitous insult to India thrown in for effect. You invoke our children, our villages and our disaster victims, then suggest that our elected leadership exists to protect a billionaire’s commercial interests. I have to say—this is an absolute metaphor foe corporate entitlement.
Here are a few facts you might find inconvenient.
In August 2026 alone, India’s UPI processed 24.5 billion transactions worth ₹29.82 lakh crore. A homegrown digital payments system has made instant transfers part of everyday life for millions, without requiring Indians to depend on American payment giants. By May 2025, 97.65% of India’s villages had mobile connectivity, and 96.8% had 4G coverage. These are official Indian government figures, not a billionaire’s sales pitc
Does India still have connectivity gaps? Absolutely. Can Starlink help remote communities and disaster-hit regions? Certainly. Then make a compelling case for your service, compete fairly and let Indian consumers decide. You do not get to portray an entire country as technologically helpless merely because you want a bigger market.
And the irony of your political condescension deserves attention.
You come from a country whose electoral administration is fragmented across more than 10,000 jurisdictions, with voting rules and procedures varying from state to state. India conducts the world’s largest electoral exercise through a constitutional framework administered by the Election Commission of India, bringing hundreds of millions of voters into the democratic process. Our electoral system has imperfections and deserves scrutiny, just as yours does. But the notion that an American billionaire is entitled to sneer at Indian democracy while demanding that its leadership accommodate his business is breathtaking arrogance.
And let us be clear about the word monopoly. If any Indian corporation is abusing market power or using political influence to obstruct competition, produce the evidence. Investigate it. Prove it. But do not confuse a regulatory decision you dislike with proof of corruption, or wrap an unsubstantiated insinuation in concern for poor children.
Starlink is not a gift to India. It is a commercial service seeking customers in India. India has every right to insist on spectrum compliance, security safeguards, lawful interception and terms that serve its national interest. No company, however wealthy its owner, is entitled to exemptions from the laws of a sovereign nation.
You have built businesses by challenging established players. Fine. Now face the same test yourself: compete, innovate, lower prices and earn the trust of your customers.
India does not owe you access on your terms. Its people are not props in your public-relations campaign, and its Prime Minister is not your subordinate.
You may own a company that wants to enter India. You do not own the right to lecture India on how to run itself.
Watching Elon Musk this week has been a fascinating character study in the saviour complex of Western tech billionaires.
They arrive in your country selling you the future. Welcome them, and you’re a country that wants progress. Make them wait, and suddenly your people are victims who need rescuing from their own institutions by the chosen one.
It’s a pattern. When Thai rescuers didn’t use the mini-submarine Musk sent for the trapped boys, and diver Vernon Unsworth called the idea impractical, Musk attacked him as the “pedo guy.”
When Brazil’s Supreme Court ordered X to comply with its rulings, Musk called the judge a “dictator.”
The script rarely changes. Only the country does.
The colonial mindset isn’t always about wanting to rule a country. Sometimes it’s the assumption that you arrive as its saviour, and if the country doesn’t immediately recognise you as one, something must be wrong with the country.
@ikamalhaasan A welcome change from Kamal Hassan to put national interests first above politics
Indians will decide what to do in India 🇮🇳
Not an American throwing a tantrum on X
Mr. Musk, yes, no billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy - Indian or American.
India must welcome competition in satellite internet, from Indian and global providers, whoever offers the most practical and affordable last-mile solution for those in remote regions. In countries with lower per-capita incomes, satellite internet must be affordable too. High subscription fees and equipment costs risk putting it beyond the reach of ordinary households. Connectivity must bridge the digital divide, not create a new one.
India knows our networks and spectrum are strategic infrastructure, not merely commercial assets. India’s national security safeguards are non-negotiable.
Every country makes choices based on its own interests. Those in the West cannot preach free markets while practicing protectionism at home. USA imposed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect its domestic industry, just as India takes measures to protect its own domestic manufacturers. Both India and the US have restricted Huawei over security concerns. One cannot demand a level playing field from others only when it suits its own agenda.
Indians will internally debate, question and address our strengths and shortcomings as a democratic country.
Take BharatNet, India’s programme to bring broadband to village-level local bodies. We will question why, as the CAG’s 2026 audit report found, the programme is struggling to meet its original objectives. Why were only 33.2% of service-ready Gram Panchayats operational, despite ₹39,888 crore being spent? At the same time, we know to appreciate our telecom sector and regulations, which has made internet data among the world’s most affordable, bringing millions online.
India is a democracy, not a colony. We welcome the world, but we, the Indian people, will decide our own future - not Western vested interests, their double standards or any billionaire - Indian or American.
