In August we promised support for members affected by the BitMart shutdown. The application is now open in the cPen app.

Here’s how the program works:

- Update the cPen app to the latest version (1.3.34+).

- Your 2025 CPEN distribution went to your BitMart deposit address. You still had CPEN on BitMart on July 26, 2026, or you withdrew it during the shutdown and paid BitMart's high fee.

- You get 0.5 HATN for each approved CPEN.

- Your HATN arrives locked. A little unlocks automatically on each day you mine.

- Apply by January 31, 2027 (UTC).

This is a cPen program. It is not part of BitMart. BitMart is not involved.

You do not need to email us. You do not need to send documents. It is free. Everything happens in the app.

Who can apply

You can apply if both are true:

- Your 2025 CPEN distribution went to your BitMart deposit address.

- You still had CPEN on BitMart on July 26, 2026. Or you withdrew during the shutdown and paid BitMart's high fee.

You also need:

The official cPen app from the App Store or Google Play.

A self-custody wallet saved in the app, for example MetaMask or Trust Wallet. An exchange address is not accepted.

One application per account. You do not need identity verification to apply. Identity verification is needed before any future HATN token distribution.

How to apply

- Update the cPen app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Sign in.

- Save your self-custody wallet in Wallet.

- On the Home screen, find the HATN card. Tap the line about cPen assistance for BitMart users. Follow the steps.

- The check usually takes a few minutes. It can take up to a few days when many people apply. Check back in the app for the result.

How much you get

Enter how much CPEN you had on BitMart on July 26, 2026. Include CPEN you sold later, or withdrew with BitMart's high fee.

We approve up to the CPEN sent to your BitMart address, and at most 20,000 CPEN.

You get 0.5 HATN for each approved CPEN. The most you can get is 10,000 HATN.

Example: 8,000 CPEN was sent to your Bitmart address in 2025. You still had 5,000 CPEN in your BitMart account on July 26, 2026, so you enter 5,000. We approve 5,000 CPEN. You get 2,500 HATN.

You cannot change the amount after you apply. Enter it honestly.

This HATN is extra. It does not reduce anyone's mining rewards.

Locked HATN

Your HATN arrives locked.

Each day you make your basic mining claim, 1/120 of it unlocks, rounded up to a whole HATN.

Unlocking pauses while your address is under review.

The days do not need to be in a row.

Locked HATN is never deducted for missed days.

Unlocked HATN is normal HATN. Normal mining rules apply to it.

Days covered by vacation, personal days or holiday protection do not unlock HATN. Only a mining claim does.

Dates

January 31, 2027 (UTC): last day to apply.

December 31, 2027 (UTC): HATN that is still locked at the end of this day expires.

The address checks work as follows:

1. Transfers only to identified BitMart addresses

If outgoing transfers went only to addresses we have identified as BitMart’s, the address passes this check.

2. No outgoing transfers

If the address has not sent assets elsewhere, it may receive provisional approval. This includes addresses that only received network-fee funding from BitMart.

We continue monitoring provisionally approved addresses.

If the address later sends assets to a wallet or contract we have not identified as BitMart’s, we pause unlocking and review the transfer for approximately seven days.

Unless the destination is confirmed as BitMart’s, the allocation is cancelled. Remaining locked HATN is removed, and HATN already unlocked from this allocation is taken back.

3. Transfers to other addresses or contracts

An address that has sent assets to a wallet or contract we have not identified as BitMart’s is not eligible. If it has also sent assets to BitMart, we review it before deciding.

Token burns and token transfer fees incurred during a transfer to BitMart do not count as disqualifying transfers.

Where applicable, the app shows the transaction associated with the result.

Checks are automated, with review where described above.

Other program terms

• This is a one-time goodwill program. cPen does not accept responsibility for BitMart’s actions.

• Assistance does not depend on recovery from BitMart. If BitMart later returns your assets, you keep your allocation, subject to the program’s other rules.

• False statements or the use of multiple accounts result in cancellation of the allocation.

We’re updating our mainnet plan. 🌐

The cPen mainnet is planned to launch as the Human Attention Network, with $HATN as its native token.

💡 Why the change

Our research on labor and attention in the AI era shaped this direction. As AI performs more tasks and produces more content, we believe human attention will play an increasingly important role.

Human Attention Network reflects this vision more clearly than naming the network after our app.

📌 What this means for $CPEN

Under the updated plan, HATN will be used to pay network transaction fees. CPEN is no longer planned to serve as the network’s fee, staking or network-governance token.

We recognize that this is a big change, and we understand that some supporters will be disappointed.

We made this decision to align the network with its intended purpose. Our plans for CPEN now focus on uses within the cPen ecosystem, including the proposed DEX described below.

🔥 Mainnet rewards allocation to be burned

The 405,537,893.54 CPEN reserved under the 12% mainnet rewards allocation will be burned.

This allocation unlocks gradually under PinkLock lock #1308245 until approximately April 2030. We will withdraw tokens from this allocation only for burning and publish the withdrawal and burn transaction links.

No burn schedule has been set yet.

🔄 Planned DEX role for CPEN

We intend to build a decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Human Attention Network, with CPEN as its official token.

CPEN’s specific functions within the DEX have not yet been finalized. We will publish those details as the design is developed.

📢 Broader ecosystem use

We plan to support CPEN alongside INK across the cPen ecosystem and will announce additional uses as they become available.

CPEN and INK remain part of the cPen buyback program. Buybacks and burns do not guarantee token value or market performance.

⚠️ HATN token safety

There is currently no official HATN token deployed on any blockchain. We are not running an on-chain HATN token claim, swap, migration, airdrop or token sale.

Any on-chain token presented as our HATN token at this time is unofficial.
