N I — C O is a Sydney-based design studio founded and led by Scandinavian designer Nicolai Henriksen.
What began in 2019 as an initiative to do good—alongside a desire to learn how to build a business—has, by 2026, evolved into a design studio.

What will become of N I — C O in the future is still to be determined. However, whether it reappears as what it’s been for the past three years or resurfaces as something completely different, only time will tell.
Until then; thank you for this time around.

Pause.
—
What started in 2019 as a simple thought about collaboration, doing something good and giving back to society, has been paused.
After almost three years, three collections and eighty sold units, it’s time to reflect and celebrate what was achieved.
…
…
N I — C O, the not-for-profit apparel brand, has raised over A$2,300 for charities through the sale of collaboratively designed shirts and I must say; I’m extremely proud of what we achieved together.
…
We’re incredible proud and thankful for the extensive support we’ve received throughout our latest collection for @ni_co_studio.
All forty shirts have now been sold.
We’ve today donated A$1,350 to @TheOceanCleanup. Thank you.

We’re down to the last shirt of this collection and since N I — C O is all about giving something back, we’re donating the last shirt to a person nominated in the IG comment section.

Let’s go!
Two ocean systems and eight Interceptors later, here's our very first Interceptor dog to ensure things run smoothly and keep the local operators company onboard Interceptor 003 in Can Tho, Vietnam. 🇻🇳
Last chance.

If we’re going to finish this collection in April, it’s about last chance to do so. Two shirts left.
Support our cause now—it’s much appreciated. Purchase at https://t.co/vcSdzWBg5B.

Thank you.
We’re packaging up the latest order for the Aecor collection. The shirts are—as always—accompanied by a handwritten note saying ‘thank you’. We do it because we appreciate people supporting this project we started more than three years ago.
So, once again; thank you.
It’s now April 19th 2022 and the third collection is so close to being sold out. We have two medium-sized shirts left and it would be incredible to sell them within the next eleven days.
All profits are donated to the largest cleanup in history orchestrated by @TheOceanCleanup.
April is the month for selling out.
The last shirt of the Empathy collection was sold out in April 2020. The collection consisted of twenty units and it took longer than expected to sell all twenty of them. It was also our first collection and we were just starting out.
…
The second collection—Amity—also consisted of twenty shirts and sold out in April as well. The collection was dropped later than the first collection, but—at that point—we’d gained a bit of an audience. A small audience, but an audience nonetheless.

Whenever we travel, we always make sure that we represent. If you have a shirt yourself, then wear it with pride.
There’s a couple of shirts left—check them out now — https://t.co/vcSdzWBg5B.
