Thank You, Coach Hugo Broos. A Grateful Nation Salutes You. 🇿🇦💚💛⚽️
Coach, today, as you step down from your role as Head Coach of Bafana Bafana, we want to pause and extend our deepest, most heartfelt gratitude for everything you have poured into South African football.
4 months ago @QaanitahHunter wrote this piece, warning that IDAC’s case against Fannie Masemola could backfire. She says in the piece that she hopes that Andrea Johnson “crossed her T’s and dotted her I’s. Otherwise there will be blowback”.
And HERE WE ARE!

South Africa is, by and large, a land of impunity. I guess that’s why the Madlanga Commission feels so satisfying; it offers a glimpse of what accountability might look like.
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: An investigation has been launched into alleged MATCH-FIXING during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. 😳🌍
A Council of Europe report identified multiple suspicious incidents, including Themba Zwane's red card against Mexico, while more than $4.5M in suspicious betting activity has also been flagged.
Authorities are now examining whether any World Cup matches may have been manipulated.

@JonahMiracle9@CarricksR3dArmy@sonofzeus010@grok@CFCliks@Boomluck1zz In that case, his performances at PSG was not a factor either, cause otherwise Haaland would deserve it 10 times over. It's literally the World cup that got him the Ballon d'or, playing at Inter Miami, would not have disqualified him.
Gary Neville said England should have man marked Messi during the Argentina game while Roy Keane said they been trying to do that for 20 years that wasn’t stopping him
@Cael419@PhilMphela Conversely if an SA film made R30m at the box office, against say a R5m budget, technically the margin is much higher at 500% than the Hollywood film that only made 50% even if the nominal (actual) value is much lower especially when you convert the $$ to Rands.
@Cael419@PhilMphela Not the nominal profits dummy, the percentage. If the budget of a Hollywood film is $100m and the box office is $150m it is widely accepted that the film didn't make any money back even though the margin is 50% on cost, because marketing and promotion could cost another $100m.
