GUTTED 😢 - CAN YOU HELP?
I know it’s a long shot, but I’ve just realised that, after my day of meeting in Brighton, I am without a very special pen.
My family clubbed together to get it for my 40th birthday and I’d be so sad to lose it.
It’s a Mont Blanc and I had it on the train between Hove and Brighton. I’ve told Southern and the bus company that got me home, but it may be somewhere in Brighton Station or down towards there and the bus stops on London Rd.
I’m not on Facebook but if you can share the imagine to your social networks, I’d be very grateful.
I’m very philosophical in these kind of situations - maybe it is time for someone else to enjoy it.
Having said that I’ll give £50 for its safe return! 🙏🏼
Thanks, all. Jon
A TOUGH SITUATION - BRILLIANTLY HANDLED
This afternoon I got the 273 bus back from Brighton to Hurstpierpoint and something happened that warmed my heart and reminded me that society isn’t totally falling apart.
I was sitting on the top deck on the right hand side and was getting increasingly confused as to why we were waiting so long at every stop.
Eventually I headed downstairs to find the driver out of her seat, visibly emotional and out of sorts.
It was a tough situation.
She explained that whilst she had noticed numerous missed calls on her phone, company policy prevented her from checking it, even at the stops.
That was until her company texted ‘PULL OVER!!’
Her husband had had a heart attack and was on the way to hospital.
Suddenly being late didn’t matter.
Not at all.
And the reaction of every passenger was fantastic.
No stress, no annoyance, everyone patient as most of us gathered off the stuffy bus to chat and make sure she was OK
A special mention to two girls who, as we waiting for the relief driver, chatted to her reassuringly, with huge empathy and with a hand on each of her shoulders.
The bus company (Metrobus) were great too. The relief driver didn’t take long and drove up like Lewis Hamilton in order to make sure our driver could get to hospital to be with her husband as soon as physically possible.
It was lovely to witness.
And tonight my thoughts are with our driver and her husband. 💙
"Donald Trump's administration is lying to you."
Gov. J.B. Pritzker slammed the White House for saying the freeze wouldn’t affect Head Start and Medicaid.
This is how we do it. Call out Trump’s lies to the camera, bold, strong action. Hold him accountable, every single time.
If this were college football, Tariq Lamptey might get ejected for targeting. 😳
But it's not. Lamptey stays on the field while Mykhailo Mudryk departs with concussion.
It’s a bit rowdy 😀 on our ST05 service back to #brighton following the great win in Manchester.
Can we play you every week 🔵⚪️
Thank you for travelling with us 🤝

Late capitulation aside, when we had our regulars on the pitch, we were miles above the opposition tonight.
I’m generally very optimistic about the season after these 3 matches. The squad has depth, and the new additions have integrated smoothly. #BHAFC
