I wanted to take a moment to not only thank the @MountOliveTSD I.T department for their hard work these tough weeks. But I also wanted to thank the teachers, faculty, administration, the students and everyone in between for everything they do. #ThankYou

Cell phones should be banned in every classroom, the N.J. governor just announced. 📱🙅 But, some parents argue they want to be able to call or text their child in an emergency. What do you think of a potential ban?
It’s 2025, that means the sale of new gas and diesel powered fire trucks, RVs, and other medium and heavy-duty trucks are BANNED in New Jersey. 🛑
📱 Call your legislators today and ask them to support A4967 to delay this ban for two years.
✅ We got this bill through the Transportation Committee, now it needs a vote in the full Assembly.
🚒 The cost of EV fire trucks is simply too high for volunteer fire departments.
That’s a wrap on 2024!
Marines stationed all over the world have worked hard to remain ready and keep our nation safe.
Have a happy New Year, Marines 🎉

From the deck log of the USS Higgins (DDG 76) :
As one of the first ships to see the new year take flight,
We mark it on USS Higgins tonight.
A ship forward-deployed for freedom’s call,
In defense of peace, we give our all.
So starts the 250th year we’ve sailed,
Through tempests fierce, while our enemies failed.
America’s Navy, bold and free,
Guardians steadfast upon the sea.
With our allies, partners, and friends so near,
The Navy brings peace, year after year.
From seabed to space, ocean to sky,
We always stand ready to sail or to fly.
Ninety percent of commerce flows,
Through ocean lanes where the Navy goes.
With aircraft patrolling, ships underway,
Our presence ensures the peace each day.
“First to fight”, we proudly lead,
Answering our nation’s every need.
With steadfast resolve, both night and day,
Ready the crew of the Higgins will stay.
Anchors aweigh, through the dark and the light,
With honor, courage, commitment and might.
250 years - our mission runs deep,
Safeguarding freedom is the watch we keep.
The New Year rings in on this mighty ship,
And we honor the Navy’s enduring grip.
May our winds be fair, our purpose clear,
For freedom we serve, year after year.

83 years ago, our Pacific Fleet faced devastation at Pearl Harbor, but the courage of our Sailors and civilians turned tragedy into resolve. Today, we honor their sacrifice and bravery, a legacy woven into the fabric of our Navy’s history. #PearlHarborRemembranceDay#NeverForget #USNavy @USNavyCNO@SECNAV

113 final: Tyeler Hagensen Mt. Olive d. Jonathan McGinty St. Joseph's-Montvale 5-2. Hagensen really good on his feet. He might be a good OW candidate. He is Mt. Olive's first state champion since 1988.
