This man has to lead Nigeria in my lifetime.
Peter Obi has to be president bro.
As a people, we need to find a way to make it happen.
We can't leave it all for him to do.
The media sector in Africa has failed us. We keep seeing news about Ukraine and Gaza but the genocide happening in neighbouring countries like Sudan and Congo has been grossly underreported.
We need to do better in Africa.
People were stuck in traffic for over 72 hrs while traveling state to state. People got information about it and decided to borrow money from friends and family to fly. Others were afraid of being kidnapped if they use the road. Flights is cheaper than ransom money.
The airports got full.
Another person said it’s because Tinubu is doing so well that’s why airport is full because people now have more money to spend on flight. (Higher purchasing power)
This is the country we are living in. Some people call white as black.
This is the level Nigerians has gotten to. Travellers are now patching road. If you still vote for bad leadership bcs he is my religion or tribe, watch and rethink
Again, pay attention to Policy and Politics.
You see how a neglected road impacted your movement which led to the death of your fish and loss of money.
Now imagine if this fish farm is run with loans.
Hold your government.
Dr. Obafemi is living in an economic illusion.
If you earn ₦100,000 a month and decide to live in areas with “affordable” rent, commuting can cost up to ₦4,000 a day.
Over a month, that totals ₦80,000 just on just transportation, which leaves only ₦20,000 from a ₦100,000 monthly salary.
You can not outsave a failing economy
NIGERIANS, PLEASE STOP SCROLLING AND READ THIS.
Von Batten-Montague-York, a US lobbying firm hired by Atiku Abubakar's campaign, released this information yesterday, and I think it flew over everyone's heads! There's hardly any news station reporting or talking about it.
Not even the opposition is talking about it.
These are the actual court documents, filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia on October 23, 2023. Civil Action No. 23-1816.
And what is actually inside these documents is what Nigerians should be paying attention to. 👇🏽
Page 1: Tinubu personally filed a Motion to Intervene in the case because the existing defendants were, in his lawyers' words, “not fully representing or protecting his interests.”
He wanted to intervene himself, with his own lawyers, in a case concerning the release of records about him.
Page 5: His lawyers argued that releasing the records would “negate protections” and “impair his privacy interests.”
He was asking the court to recognize his interests as a private citizen whose personal information deserved protection from disclosure.
Now get to Page 7. This one is particularly interesting. 👇🏽
Tinubu formally requested 30 days before any documents were released so he could “consult with Defendants about the documents they intend to provide, and assert applicable protections or exemptions.”
Read that slowly.
He wasn't simply sitting somewhere while the US government handled the matter. His filing asked for time to consult with the defendants about the documents they intended to release and to assert whatever protections or exemptions he believed applied.
Then you get to Page 9.
His name.
His lawyers.
His signature.
INTERVENOR BOLA AHMED TINUBU.
Now, before anybody starts screaming “propaganda,” let's be clear:
Tinubu has not been convicted of drug trafficking.
That is a fact, and it should be stated.
But another fact is that, in October 2023, while he was President of Nigeria, he personally sought to intervene in a US federal case concerning the release of records about him and asked the court for protections around those records.
And this was happening while Nigerians were being told he had nothing to hide.
So don't take my word for it.
I'm attaching the actual documents. Read them yourself.
Pages 1, 5, 7 and 9.
His filing. His lawyers. His name. His signature.
No political commentator is needed to explain the document to you.
No opposition politician is needed either.
Read it. Understand it. Then decide for yourself what you think about it.
This is why Nigerians need to learn to read primary documents instead of allowing politicians and their supporters to tell us what to think.
Nigeria, this is your President.
What are you going to do with this information - read it, ask questions, or scroll past? 🇳🇬
Bro imagine being stuck here for 3 fucking days
And nobody is apologizing and pleading for the people’s mercy
If you dey campaign for this people dem suppose spit on you.
And fuck all of you who trivialize people’s lives and pains as politics!!
Hurts me to say this: Africa will not be saved by entrepreneurship. We cannot vibecode ourselves into the 4th industrial revolution. We still need to industrialize. To achieve this, we need stronger and better public institutions. We need extremely competent leaders at the helm.
I asked the Iyaloja of Oregun market what they use the 2,000 PER DAY levy they collect from EVERY TRADER in Oregun to do;
She said I should go and ask Kabiyesi.
I said she should be able to provide me answers since she is the emissary.
Guess her response?
She will send boys to beat me up 😂😂😂.
Bunch of looting criminals
How can you collect AT LEAST 2,000 naira Everyday from over 200 shops and there is no significant improvement.
Every shop is consistently deteriorating, gutters are stinking because there is no drainage but you will send boys to beat me up after you delayed us for thirty minutes to collect your useless levy?
Gombe to Abuja by taxi before removal of subsidy was just N5,500. After removal, it reached N55,000. So, tell me how the removal of subsidy helped us, you oafs!
A poor tenant will listen to Hamzat, Doherty, and GRV and then vote for Hamzat.
Then beg for rent.
Nigeria is a crazy country with a high population of crazy people.
A boy and a girl are dating. The boy has a great job, a comfortable apartment and a car. All the girl has is a soft body and a pretty face, but it is the boy who is lucky? Okay.
The boy makes 500k+ a month. The girl is still being fed by her parents, but it is the boy who is lucky? Okay.
From that 500k, the boy is paying her bills, taking her on dates, even covering bills for people he's never met in her family. But it's the boy who is lucky? Okay.
And then when he eventually breaks up with the girl & walks away, he's the one who "fumbled" and "lost a good one?" She's the one who "Dodged a bullet?"
Delusion is a beautiful thing.
This man is talking like an illiterate that got the job because of who he probably knew and in some years they would package him and have him contest as Lagos state governor.
What do you mean a young Nigerian trying to rent a SELF CON is him living large ??
