@BN9 One person’s suffering is everyone’s suffering. We all must help with these disasters. Please help if you can, especially if you are a 0.1% er. I’m so heartbroken by the sudden devastating damages.
@DanPriceSeattle Of course I must remember life isn’t fair. I have less to complain about than most, especially right now. Doesn’t mean that sometimes I wish it was fairer. Upon exhaling all the frustration came out. Also we are all 99% in this together, only the 1% are privileged.
@DanPriceSeattle Or how you have to cover 4 yrs plus of expenses in a bad situation but snowflakes get their knickers in a knot over 2.5 months expenses paid by the taxpayers.
@Lil_TK21 Or free, cause even if the gov subsidizes comm college, the colleges will come up with 'fees' or other expenses that aren't subsidized. Of course...
@Lil_TK21 Much needs to be done to education, where to start? Something needs to be done about loans 'cause the alum students bought in to an economy that doesn't exist & they didn't realize this 'cause 'education'. Middle aged people can't afford retraining, comm college should be cheap.
@davi326@L_PBusiness@InvestHK_LDN@InvestHK@Stephanie_HK@HKinLondon @tradegovukHK @Britchamhk@Frances01460640 China had an opportunity to lose its world known copying status by allowing HK some freedom for innovation. China is good at following rules and grunt work (ie Olympic records) but lacks creativity. US Olympic records are despite individuality and options for entertainment.
@MaryEllenGrom Xiping needs to heed this; this is why China ends up copying from the freer democracies, as their own innovation is stifled. It’s like China needs the west to evolve. There’s plenty of articles proving this theory. Democracy isn’t the bad guy, but individuality can be manipulated
1. billionaire pays $0 in taxes yet relies on taxpayer-funded infrastructure, food stamps to subsidize low pay and education system to train workers
2. billionaire donates $1 million to charity he controls, which is tax-deductible
3. billionaire called "great philanthropist"
@faris@umairh Just when you’da thunk all the facists moved to the USA in the past century, you remember Brexit was before Thump. And Oz is impacted and others too.
#thingsicoulddowithastimulus pave/re-pave driveway, paint house outside and in. Buy some furniture that isn’t broken and used. Buy clothes new. Kids could afford college, or educational activities. Make repairs on house/stuff. Replace failing dishwasher, fridge, dryer.
