Just because I work in the media it doesn’t mean I can’t acknowledge the concern about Bukayo Saka being used as the face of England’s defeat and poor performance - despite other players performing worse - across a number of platforms last night.
If anything it is even more my job. Especially when he was a) a substitute and b) one of the players targeted after England failed at the last Euros. It is a reminder that we need to think about EVERYTHING put into the public domain. And I will continue to speak openly - in public and in private - about it.
The days of Black and Brown fans remaining silent on issues such as this are thankfully behind us.
If supporters (of all races) felt his, Rashford and Sancho's pain in 2021, we need to show we have learned from it this time around.

Boris Johnson today calls Starmer “Sir Keir Schnorrer” (see attached). “Schnorrer” is the Yiddish word for beggar and scrounger. It is pretty offensive. It was part of the lingua franca of my grandparents and of my childhood. I find it unsettling to see Johnson appropriating it to describe someone whose wife is Jewish - and especially when he says “if Schnorrer gets in, he will immediately begin the process of robbing this country of
its new-found independence
and make the UK the punk of the EU”. What do you think? Am I being over sensitive?

We, the vast majority of fans, would like to express our heartfelt desire for Erik ten Hag to remain at the helm of our beloved club next season. We understand that this season has been challenging, with more than 60 separate cases of injury and illness throughout the squad. However, Ten Hag has shown his resilience and adaptability in steering the team through these turbulent times.

Furthermore, Ten Hag's commitment to strengthening the squad's depth and his alignment with the ambitions of INEOS are promising signs for the future. We believe that with the right support and resources, he can lead us to greater heights and bring back the glory days to Old Trafford.

He has already won two trophies with Man United and we believe he can deliver more. He has been instrumental in bringing in youth players that have made big difference to the squad.

In conclusion, we, the fans, stand united in our support for Erik ten Hag and urge INEOS to give him the opportunity to continue his work at Manchester United. We trust that with his guidance, the club will thrive and achieve the success we all desire.
