Teams creation is disabled for everyone currently. Most of the features you will want to use do not require a Team. Teams has the capability to handle 100 users in a chat, 250 people in a meeting, and 10000 people in a live event. We will be sending out some info soon.

We have seen lots of requests for Zoom. We wanted you to be aware that the district has Microsoft Teams available, ready to use, and is supported by us. It is tied directly to Office 365. Feel free to play with your colleagues and use this tool to collaborate and instruct.

Follow up on the planned outrage email from yesterday. The contractors took a little bit longer than they estimated but all services are back online.

District fiber cut update: The cut that happened this afternoon has been repaired and all of our buildings are back online. Very quick turnaround from Sprague Excavating on the repairs!

Update on district phone and internet outages: District fiber was cut this afternoon due to construction near 100th & N. Woodland. Crews are currently working on a repair and we anticipate a return to normal phone and internet service districtwide by the start of school tomorrow.

We are aware of the issues with authentication for Box and Adobe and are working with them to resolve.

Reminder to all staff - be selective in your CrashPlan restores. Most people only need to select Desktop, Documents, and Downloads. Other things will usually come from iCloud like photos, music, etc. We have had to re-image several people for restoring the wrong things.

Every building picked a day and essentially all will be complete by May 31st. That was supposed to have been communicated to you last week from your Principals. I would reach out to them for more info as to which date they picked.

@MrsRoush @BeckyDollins @janet_braud Looks like all elementary schools along with GO, NIC, PV, and JC will be picked up the 29th and returned the 30th. 6th, MS, and NKHS on the 30th - returned the 31st. WHS, OPHS, STHS picked up early the 31st - teachers will come pick them up either later in the day or June 4th.

FYI to all staff members. Please be sure to get yourself imaged before the deadline of May 31st! Follow your building schedules. We have to make changes to the wireless which will make non-imaged machines no longer connect. Procrastination this year will not be a good thing.
