The man, the legend - it's Nigel Woodberry! The KC beer community celebrity will be our emcee for tomorrow evening's fest. Nigel is great with words as evidenced by the podcast he hosts with co-host, Nick Parker, called @beerswithnigel. #beertwitter#kcbeer#sfbf#beerswithnigel
Thank you to @cheesystreetKC! They’ll be setting up outside to feed the hungry folks for Spring Fling Beer Fest! Come hungry or by the time you try some beers, you'll need some food. Cheesy Street will have just what you need!
Reminder: you cannot take your alcohol outside.
@alwhit5@diametricbrewco Thank you for your interest and your support! You can drink all you want (drink responsibly) but there will be no onsite purchases of alcohol at Spring Fling.
We've got beer! Thank you Diametric Brewing Co for beers! This Foeder beer will be at the Beagle Tribute Table for attendees to try as well as a beer from @3HALVESBrewing (Never Again White Peach Tangerine Smoothie Sour) and @BigRipBeer (Watermelon Jalapeño Hefe the Killer).
Shark Girl Brewing is not quite a probrewer but her experiences in the KC beer community is just as impressive. Other than brewing at home, she has brewed with Apex Aleworks & Callsign Brewing, & has plans to brew with more breweries. Try her Waffle Ale this Sat. at Spring Fling
@EyeForAnEyeBrew has been to several festivals but their beers have been on tap, too, at local breweries. Ryan Wells has collaborated with places like Diddy’s Kitchen BBQ & Brewery to brew up some great beers to reach as many people as possible.
Time to relax and kick your feet up with Feet Up Brew Crew. They'll be bringing 2 under 5% beers for you to try and some on the heavier side. Their In Yourye British Brown Ale and ...and Sliced Up Some Cantylope American Pale Ale clock in at 4.9% and 4.5%, respectively.
Don’t think you’re taking it light with a cider when you sample @CountryDocBrew's You’re in Cider Town New World Cider. This one comes in at 5.9%. If you’re not a cider fan, they’ve got a Helles Lager and Trappist Single they’ll be bringing.
Beets’ Brews will be bringing a beet beer, of course! Try Logan Beets’ Loganberry Beet Berlinerweisse and see if it lives up to its name. Don’t forget about voting for your favorite to win People’s Choice. Bring cash to donate into the containers on your favorite homebrewer/beer
A bit of a tongue-twister but FusterCluck Brewing beers will surely make your tongue happy! As evidenced by their name, these folks like to have fun. They’ll be pouring a Scotch Ale w/Sea Salt, Vanilla Bourbon Cream Ale, Tropical Stout w/Tropical Fruit, & White Girl Wasted!
When you reach a Forck in the road when naming your brewery, why not go with your own last name? Forck Brewery is no stranger to the local homebrew festivals. They’ve poured award-winning beers at several in the area & are looking to increase their award count at Spring Fling!
Easley Brewing will be bringing Snozzberries Taste like Snozzberries Sour Milkshake DDH NEIPA w/Lemongrass & Blueberries & Nazgûl’s Elixir - an American Imperial Stout that has a 13.5% ABV to Spring Fling 04/02. Are either of these (or both) on your must try list?
Bringing that special someone - a Designated Driver? Make sure to get them a ticket so they can hang out during the event. For just $10, they'll get access to the coolest party in #NKC on Saturday, April 2, and make sure you make it home safely! https://t.co/EqsMGhbKVs...
With a name like @scoutingthetaps, you should know plenty about beer and brewer Alex Workman does! When not brewing up batches, the Lee’s Summit brewer can be found at local breweries chatting up all things beer in the KC area.
You have to have a little bit of smarts to brew beer but 8 Degrees Brewing has lots of smarts and the degrees to prove it! Named after the cumulative degrees the three brewers have, 8 Degrees Brewing takes their knowledge and applies it to create some pretty out there beers.
Just two weeks until @NKCSpringFling! I've been on the Festival Committee since November and we're planning some fantastic things for 2022. Get your tix: https://t.co/8KIYqiqPxc
