@SportsMediaJB@GamecocksShow I like the guy. He loves the Gamecocks and wants to be here (that’s a big deal). Too many fans believe the next guy is guaranteed to be the right one. There are no guarantees. Give Monte two full years and see what he does.
Every spiritual victory in the Christian life is 100% from God. He fights every battle. He advances the cause over enemy territory. He strengthens His warriors. He wins the victories. To Him be the glory.
"Apart from me, you can do nothing."
The cross means nothing without the resurrection.
Attempting to find beauty in self-sacrifice that ends in death is still a death all the same.
Either Christ's remains are scattered in Middle Eastern dirt and we await the same fate. If Christ is dead, we remain dead in our sins. Or his death secured exactly what Scripture says it secured: payment for sin and the promise of resurrection.
The cross cannot be redemptive apart from the empty tomb. So either confess Christ as Lord—or just say nothing at all. There are no half measures when it comes to the claims about who Christ is. He's either a corpse or a resurrected King.
Pluralistic bromides that deny Christ's Kingship are just patronizing, insulting, and hell-bound platitudes.
In December 2025, former US Senator @BenSasse announced that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. That's the primary topic for this @UncKnowledge conversation about mortality, faith, and what truly matters when time is short.
Talking to host @P_M_Robinson, Sasse reflects on "redeeming the time"—holding ambition lightly, loving family more deliberately, and resisting the urge to make politics or professional success the center of life.
The discussion also covers Sasse's thoughts on the failures of Congress; the dangers of a fragmented, attention-starved republic; the crisis of higher education; and the moral challenges of technological abundance.
He speaks candidly and movingly about regret, forgiveness, prayer, and suffering—arguing that while death is a real enemy, it does not get the final word. Watch the full conversation on X:
In an age obsessed by questions of identity: Who am I?
The gospel offers a better question: Whose am I?
The gospel is less about who we are, and more about whose we are.
Our greatest hope in life and death is that we are not our own, but belong to God.
@DennyBurk You may be right but I think this election is a repudiation of their current approach. My hope is that some on the left will open their eyes.
Mrs. @megynkelly is a conservative media personality. She does a fantastic job.
But pastors and church leaders, there’s absolutely no reason why she should speak with more moral clarity and courage than us on this subject.

With the language of "reproductive rights" more common in recent weeks, we need regular reminders that this language typically refers to practices that involve the slaughter of the most innocent and vulnerable members of humanity. May we never grow numb to the evil of it.
@JayPhilips1075 I know a lot of people are yelling about FSU but I think everyone knows they aren’t a top 4 team. The playoff is about crowning a champion. Alabama very well could be that champion. We should be happy about the decision.
