A car should be available. FRA has released prices and I'll probably earn less than a 3pin. Is it devastating? Yes! Heartbreaking! Will I stop now? No. I've learnt an utmost lesson.
Forging ahead to the new farming season.🌽🌽🌽🌽

The maize was attacked by termites. We anticipated at least 20-25 bags but alas! Bags less than 10! 😥😥😥😥.
All this made me realize farming is all about planning ahead and having readily available resources. Build your storage in advance. Buy the sacks in advance.

The plants were fully grown, big cobs with big kernel sizes. It's now time to harvest. ( Poor planning) We didn't plan ahead, we hadn't thought of where to store the maize once we harvested. What did we do? Once we harvested, we put the maize laid on a tent.

Not only that, after we did our planting, the rain hadn't rained for two weeks straight. So you can imagine! The plants didn't germinate accordingly. The field was in patches. It was kind of sad to see . What did we miss? ( We were absent) . Fast forward,

That being an issue, we decided to entrust the farm caretaker with our field. ( Story for another day) . The struggle. The seed that was purchased wasn't enough for our field, so we bought seeds in small packages, different from the initial seed we intended to plant. 😥

Getting to the farm would be a hustle. ( Wished I had a car) . Please, live on the farm or the farm should be close to the road. We had to chance motorbike riders to get us to the farm. And no, the riders didn't reach the farm farm, we had to walk to get to the farm farm 🥹

Farming season arrives, there she was so excited to embark on her farming journey!
Seed was set
Fertilizer was set
Land? Set too! ( 70*70)
Distance - please people stay at the farm or the farm should be easily accessible.
