Democratic Ward rules are archaic, exclusionary, and unfair. Surprise ward elections that disenfranchise working families can no longer be the status quo. #CountEveryVote

The #PHL#NLCFAM supports labor today, tomorrow and always. Proud to stand with @AFSCME33 as they fight for a fair contract and long overdue hazard pay. #DC33PublicServant
Happy #LaborDay! We celebrate and honor all those who have worked hard to build our nation's workforce and continue to fight for us to have a living wage and equal rights.

I know applying to #NLCInstitute takes time and is a pain but WE need you. Your community needs you. Our country needs you. Black lives keep being taken and we need leaders who will call bullshit when things aren't working and fix what is broken so it never happens again. 🧵1/?
I’m asking you to apply to @NLC and to commit to the #NLCInstitute, not for me. Not for this chapter. But for the next victim of a society that uplifts white supremacy, homophobia, misogyny, and hate in every form. 5/6
Fast forward 30 years and I led this chapter with one of my best friends @abohl22 who happens to be from one of the small towns adjacent to Hummelstown. We pushed our chapter further and now we are led by two powerhouses @ChachDem and @destinedlum23 who will push #PHL higher. 7/7
#NLCFamily and Future #NLCFamily this is @kellanwhite the former chapter director in #PHL. I had a plan for a fantastic twitter take over for the annual @NLC twitterstorm but to be honest I don't have the energy. 🧵1/7
I am a black man who at the age of 4 had his first experience with the police. My neighbor in Hummelstown, PA called the cops because I was playing basketball on my enclosed porched. That experience is the experience of far too many black and brown people in this country.
