Many parents & carers attended the local information drop-in, held in Coatbridge this month organised in partnership with CLD schools and @HOPEforAutismNL Information and advice was available from a range of local agencies on education, wellbeing and finance.

Our 6 week Forest of Friendship #familylearning programme @st_bernardsps is now complete and what fun, learning we had over these weeks! Exploring friendships, team building, growth mindset and emotions were just some of our activities working towards @YouthScotland #hi5award

Wishaw PS Parents/carers completed a community based ASN Solihull Understanding Your Child group.
Parents reported developing positive relationships, understanding where behaviour comes from and increased confidence in parenting role and had a wellness session to finish.

Parents/Carers enjoyed Wellness Sessions including meditation, relaxation and breathing techniques. The sessions are a partnership with CLD (Schools) and The Little Care Hub from Lanarkshire Disability Forum. CeCe used sound baths, a  healing drum and participants had some reiki.

Wishaw parents enjoyed their “Preparation For Christmas” session. The parents followed a recipe learning to use various measuring instruments to make bath bombs and sugar scrub.
The programme is in partnership with CLD worker(Schools) and Holly from the CLD Sum It up project.

Kirk ‘O’ Shotts PS families created Relax Kids bags to keep handmade relaxation tools, calm bottles. Parents shared positive feedback, highlighting they learned valuable techniques to help their children relax and plan to continue using them at home.

The @NLCAdultLearn & @NLFamilyLearn group @NewmainsPrimary @nlcstbrigid Community Hub with Karen from Wirework and Sum It Up. Our learners made a Praying Mantis from Wire. This group have just completed their Access 3 Measuring in Numeracy qualification. Well done everybody.
