@BradeauxNBA Not enough playmaking..... And Rockets wanna play early 90 Hoops while modern bball shows, a spacing big, depth and multiple handlers& playmakers is the wave
Winchendon Prep’s Cam Blankenberg, a 6-foot-8 forward from Rochester, NY, has committed to play for Mike MacDonald and St. Bonaventure, sources tell @Rivals.
Blakenberg, who is currently averaging 10.5 points and 7.9 rebounds per game for City Rocks on the EYBL Circuit, is reclassifying to play for the Bonnies this season.
His commitment continues St. Bonaventure’s pipeline to Rochester, as Blakenberg follows fellow Rochester natives Melvin Council Jr. and Mason Blackwood.
@Jeff_Shull@cdhthegreat@RedNationBlogga This..... Sengun basically playing a style that got Jahlil Okafor out of the league. Either a lob catcher/ dunker spot athlete or someone that can space floor is where current 5 position is at.
@RedNationBlogga Agree, look at last two finals....modern formula is depth, speed, multiple handlers/ playmakers and at least one center that makes 3's. Which is why to me one of Sengun, Adams has to go and Rockets need to grab a 6'5 guard with some speed that can shoot and handle.
Dear athletes,
I understand many of you have games/summer league with your high school teams starting next week, but don’t forget to be a kid this summer.
3 days a week of good quality skill training is all you need to get better. You don’t need to be in the gym 7 days a week. Get out and enjoy your summer!
Pet peeve after offering a kid a scholarship…
Comment from Current Adult in their Life: “Congrats! First of many! Can’t wait to see the many more offers to come!”
Me: “How about I withdraw my offer & leave y’all to go collect 100 more offers to feel validated? 🤣”
Moral of the story — You need the ONE right offer to have a successful college career, not 100 offers to get likes online.
Don’t push kids to collect a million offers just to have them. You want the RIGHT offer to go have a successful, fulfilling career!
