@DiverseAlz By being mobile inside she could access other areas eg to sitting room to see family and friends or to engage in activities

@DiverseAlz It meant mum could sit out as she didn’t want to be in bed all the time. This chair could be used as part of her postural management so she could move between bed & chair throughout the day. Chair has wheels for indoor use so she could be propelled to different areas

@DiverseAlz Like this kind of thing? Specialist seating as has postural support. Very hard to get funded and expensive. I had to rent one for my mum when she was end of life to support her well-being

@DiverseAlz Some causes are inflammatory and autoimmune and increasing links with neurodegenerative illnesses - hence the focus on disease modifying treatments - all the ones which end in mab!!!
