GREAT TEAM WIN. The Wildcats won 13-12 on a walkoff single. Took a FULL 7 innings. Too many people to mention but we love every contribution small/big that was made. It’s very difficult to beat a team that plays together and believes in each other. #WeLoveBaseball

Lost to Edison 6-1. Jacob shaver threw 5 innings with 5Ks and added a HR in the 4th. Grant Heileman was perfect at the plate 2-2 with a walk. A lot of good today. Defense only committed one error to an aggressive hard hitting Edison team. We face Lucas at home tomorrow.

Hitters went down swinging against our top 2 in rotation early and often but combined for 6 -1B 1 -2B 2-HRs and 7-BBs. We had some good quality at bats including 1-SACf and some perfectly executed hit and runs.

Jacob shaver and Logan Girton did their jobs last night at our 3rd annual Spring Training scrimmage. Holding hitters to below a .300 average. Shaver led the way with 17Ks 0Rs 6IP 55% strikes. Girton threw 81% strikes working through 5 innings with only 61 pitches thrown.

Got word today that we will not be allowed to have contact with our team for 3 weeks. Some of our ball players won’t touch a diamond ever again after this year, I feel awful for all these kids missing out on their senior year.
