@FlorenceBapt we’re in such a fun season. Today, we sent financial support to help our neighbors near and far (Luke 10) & to be the unseen, helpful hand of God (Ruth 1). We want those in need to know they’re not alone and that they’re not without love. Y’all were so generous! 1/5
Our Haitian neighbors still have a significant way to go in rebuilding after the 7.2 earthquake in August. In partnership with @ESMIHaiti, we sent $20,500 to help purchase tents, tarps, diapers, hygiene items, food, and water.

Afghan refugees are mostly out of the news but the church is still at work. In partnership with @world_help, we’re helping refugees secure food, water, and providing assistance in finding a safe camp. The $20,500 we sent will help 586 refugees!

You give God your problems. God gives you the solutions.
It’s that easy.
P.s. Sometimes He’ll just give you His peace and that’s better than getting answers.
Another example of how our teachers go above and beyond during less than ideal times. I may be a little biased but I happen to believe social studies teachers like Whitney are particularly good at bringing their content to life! https://t.co/v1Yc5jXJ6L
As a parent, I just want to send a huge thank you to the teachers, administrators, school board members and staff who are working so hard to figure out school this fall. It's fraught with anger on all sides and you're doing the absolute best you can! I really appreciate it.
Good Friday, a reminder of God’s love for us. We love because God first loved us. As our governor has suggested, we have turned the church green as a statement of our love and support of families that have lost loved ones due to #Covid19. #GreenforKy#TogetherKy#TeamKentucky
A school superintendent said something profound in his address cancelling school for the next 3 weeks. He said: In the end, it will be impossible to know if we overreacted or did too much, but it will be QUITE apparent if we under reacted or did too little.
Hear those words....
From meeting with our nurses, gathering instructional material and working with food service and transportation to provide hot lunches and breakfast to our students, we are super proud of GCSs...every employees number one thought... KIDS FIRST!! #lovemydistrict
