Was scammed out of 20000 XRP about 8 years ago. I had no idea what an address was. I had no one to ask and my 4 adult children thought I was crazy. Most was purchased a t 0.17. I followed Charlie Ward at the time.
Was able to get 11000 back over the years. Took a long time. Had it in a LEDGER wallet. Last AUG. a fraud called Brad Garlinghouse got in touch with me saying he wanted to reward my strong backing of XRP by tripling my position. I loved and trusted Brad so much my mind was blinded. I feel even stronger about him now. Never doubted he wouldn't beat the SCUM sec. Long story 9000 was hacked out of my account. I'm 85 on SS and tried for a year now to recoup some XRP to no avail. Scammers every time. Just put my final try on Coinbase this month $800 Bought XLM and XRP. Went to check on it a week later, my account was 0. Coinbase said it must have been my fault.
Said they would assist the local police in the matter. Yeah sure.
So now I have no ISO Coins at all. My entire life savings.
I just have to watch it now from the bleachers and cheer XRP on. You deserve it. Love Gail Smith Ferguson
@RobertC12185671 I’m sorry to hear about what you’re going through,Chan. Requests for large upfront payments to recover funds especially involving cryptocurrency, “bait” operations, or overseas recovery claims are common warning signs of recovery scams. If you’d like to report the case I’ll help
@FBIDirectorKash@FedricLucas1 KASH this is Donald Robinson from Kentucky I was scammed out of a $150,000 from scammer’s what do you recommend I do please get back to me Thank You Donald
Anyone that’s connected with the scammer Elon Musk I will not get involved with he is one sick individual who really loves to hurt people like he said to me yesterday I didn’t steal $78,000 from you. I invested it all I need now is another $2000 to take it out does he think that I’m that stupid Elon leave me the hell alone
I am absolutely devastated. Today is the day I finally realized @grumpytesla_ (the original real one) is a true scammer. Says he works for Tesla/Elon helping people invest in Tesla projects. Yes he played me for a fool and was very very convincing. I have pictures and videos that Grok says are original. I see him at the Tesla events like the recent Chattanooga charge. Posts all over the place. A lot of followers. Tesla "private" investment group that's why the rules are all different. Nine months of communication on a daily basis.

Anyway, I'm 63 years old and I retired 2 years ago and I just got scammed out of my entire $200,000 401k. I am devastated and my life has changed forever. I heard someone mention "spaces" and blue check marks lately.... And how they can mislead some new users. Yeah the guy was verified. And he picked me out of the very first "space" that I ever listened to. It was very interesting and got me into crypto and Tesla stuff. In that first space, I even thought I heard Elon in the background once and 'lil X laugh. Please put a warning for new users that no one sells and invests on Elon's behalf over the X platform. This has totally ruined my life what happened over the last 9 months. Stephen/Stanley

Also saw him trying to rent RVs to people in Australia. My God.
I believed he meant what he said about being in love with me, even though he wouldn’t meet with me in person it was all online and I believed him for a whole year. I truly did. I wanted it so bad he said all the right things until I ran out of money $300,000 later I was scammed by someone who claimed he was Elon Musk. He wanted to help me by helping me invest in his company so what did I get? well I get to move out of my house cause I can’t pay to live here I am brokenhearted. I have aged 10to 15 years in my face over all the tears, but I learned my lesson and after the FBI talks to me he’s gonna learn his lesson too not a problem.
He lied and lied….my loss to date is 400,000!
He then came with a new scam from his so-called Tesla investments and cleaned out the rest of my money and then said they were going to transfer $1 million to my bank account so that we could be together ““ but then after I met that demand which was small. It was just another $1600 I got hit with another fee of $20,000 for taxes. Nobody told me not to waste that 1600 I’m a senior woman and I’m gonna be homeless after July 1 because I sent all my money to this scammers. Just be careful. Don’t believe anybody that says that they’re Elon Musk about anything it’s ridiculous and where did they find me in the first place I got a DM right here on X telling me he was Elon Musk and I believed him I wish it had been true because I developed strong feelings myself and that’s why I never checked anything. Do not believe anything you are told on this website.
An Elon Musk romance scam is a type of fraud where criminals pretend to be the billionaire entrepreneur to steal money. Con artists use fake social media profiles, deepfake videos, and voice AI to trick victims into believing they are in a relationship with him and encourage them to send money. [1, 2, 3]
How the Scam Works
•Initial Contact: Scammers reach out to victims on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or text, often using Musk's real photos.
•Building Trust: They use "deepfake" videos (fake videos made by computers) or voice cloning to make the victim believe they are really talking to him.
•Asking for Money: The scammer asks the victim to send money for fake investments in or asks them to buy gift cards.
•Fake Stories: They might claim that the government froze his bank accounts, and he needs the victim to send money to help him. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Real Cases and Dangers
•Many victims have lost their life savings, homes, and even their marriages to these scams.
•In one case, an elderly woman in Texas lost $250,000. The scammer used the money to pay an unwitting "money mule" who thought he was talking to a woman in the military.
•In another example, a Florida woman lost over $600,000 to a scammer who used AI voice cloning to make her think she was talking to him. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
How to Protect Yourself
•Verify: Elon Musk will never message random fans on social media to ask for money or propose a relationship.
•Never Send Cash or Gift Cards: If someone asks you to wire money or buy gift cards to send to them, it is a scam.
•Do Not Invest: Never hand over money based on promises of making you rich through private celebrity investments. [1, 2, 3]
On my way to the court of appeals to file my brief! May the Lord my God go before me and may He send the waring angels of Heaven to fight on my behalf! As it is written I call upon the Lord for Psalms 91 protection and His grace and His mercy and His vindication! Amen! 🙏🏽
