Four members graduated our Fall Basic Boat School: Captain Gary Clark, Michael Waugh, Randy Campbell, and Steve Swanson. They learned basic lifeguard skills, watercraft operations, and watercraft-based rescue over 28 hours. Welcome to the "green shirt crew" guys! Congratulations!

The annual Irish Italian American Festival in North Myrtle Beach was a great big party yesterday. We greeted hundreds of locals and visitors, proudly showed off one of our ambulances and The Merlin Bellamy, took lots of blood pressures and even responded to 4 medical calls.

Squad's Water Rescue Team assisted with access to a wildfire on Waites Island. Our boat crew transported firefighters and their equipment back and forth from the site and returned this morning to transport CCU fire investigators.

Yesterday, your North Myrtle Beach Rescue Squad's Water Rescue Team responded to a vessel struck by lightning with injuries. We provided ground transportation for one person. Your generosity provides us with the money to purchase the right equipment for the job!
