The answer is no, because shari'a law has been operational in Bauchi, kano and jigawa for example, but all commercial banks like UBA and the rest are still operating there.

A young boy was rescued from an Igbo woman at Mando Park in Kaduna after locals became suspicious when the child spoke Hausa and the woman could not understand the language.

The woman, an Igbo Christian, Florence Chibuzor, confessed to purchasing the child for 2.million when handed over to the police.

The most shocking part is that the woman has been in Kaduna for over 35 years, living with the people of Kaduna whose child she decided to buy from heartless people.
