@GolferMonkey@YouTube I can see there could be a link, especially using gamification to follow a learning cycle, like: come up with an idea, try it out, reflect on the leanring, change something, try again. This would work, maybe with something like Trello?
@GolferMonkey@YouTube This gave me some ideas, I watched this clip: https://t.co/j13GwVcSC7
It made me think about creating mystery in the learning journey. Have a look and let me know what you thinlk!
@LisaHew91843624@GolferMonkey It is great that there is so many offerings out there, @GlferMonkey, what are your next steps? I would be interested in your next steps! I'm going to look at links to SeeSaw, given this is platform well used in our school. thaughts???
@GolferMonkey This is a great idea! Do you have any other suggestions? We have implemented a token economy based on the children knowing each other. Our next venture is to look at is how to motivate then when using iPad apps as part of their learning. #gamification#rewards
@GolferMonkey That is a great way to build relationships in the classroom. I am actually looking at something similar, rewarding the children when they use their names. As they are only 5 they are struggling to remember each other!
@SardImperium I have found this research which suggests that some common beliefs about the benefits obtained when using games in education can be challenged. https://t.co/PYUSgYT0h5

Perfect, thank you! It is interesting that some research suggests that gamification not necessarily motivating for all children, especially those who do not like competition.

#tmlchatmr#q2 inquiry investigations could be stimulated through the use of google expeditions. For younger tamriki, this could be air dropped to a big screen. This would engage everyone in the discussion at the same time.
