I also want to share some thoughts about Project Jupiter’s impact on our community. I am grateful to @elpasomatters for publishing my column. I hope you’ll read it: https://t.co/0nCiHQ0mO6

Doña Ana Community College is hosting two trainings this week in Las Cruces and Sunland Park to help New Mexicans get into high-paying jobs building Project Jupiter. There are 300 positions with a starting salary of $27-33 per hour. If you need a job, here’s a great opportunity.

I was bitten by a dog while campaigning in Chaparral on Election Day in 2024.
It wasn’t the dog’s fault. We have a responsibility to create systems and communities where animals, just like people, are safe and can thrive. /1
@AnimalVoters We in government have a responsibility to address Chaparral’s issues with loose dogs. I’ll keep working until the public safety facility is fully funded. Folks deserve to be safe in their community. So do their animals.
Thanks for your support, Animal Protection Voters! /8
@ProtectNM Folks, I’m facing a radical MAGA Republican this year in what will be one of the toughest races in the state. I also need your help. You can support my re-election campaign by clicking here: https://t.co/tBbvFbqZdY

My husband and I spend a lot of time outdoors. We hike, forage and hunt. We own a few acres of land in the mountains. We study the health of the ecosystems with observations and trail cameras and have documented the ongoing collapse in Southern New Mexico. /1
