🌊 After several hours of heavy rain, flash floods struck the municipality of Maasim. Water flows blocked sections of the highway leading to General Santos City.

🚨 The Tinago Creek overflowed, carrying debris and large boulders. One man was seen clinging to a tree during the flood. Residents were ordered to evacuate to safe areas.

Special attention was given to the increasing frequency of natural disasters, their growing intensity, and their global consequences. Discussions with theologians also emphasized the shared values of world religions, which today serve as a key foundation for international unity and the search for solutions to the climate crisis.
