Manzoor Ahmad Pashteen, leader of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), delivered a lengthy address at The Hague Justice Dialogue in the Netherlands in mid-October 2026. In the speech, he described Pashtuns and communities in Pakistan’s mineral-rich peripheries as among the most brutalized, militarized, colonized, and oppressed peoples in the so-called Third World. Pakistani officials, including diplomat Asif Durrani and the ambassador to the Netherlands, walked out during or immediately after the remarks, drawing visible disapproval from other attendees

Every word that comes out of Manzoor Pashteen’s mouth carries the weight of a thousand. To those who are against him: tell me what you have actually done for the Pashtuns or for Afghanistan. His eyes speak volumes, and his words even more so. If you still stand against him, then show us what you’ve done for Afghanistan or for humanity.
