An antivirus is totally useless or at best a poor workaround to cover a heavily defective operating system.

I used many different Linux distributions in the last 20 years and never felt the need to waste my time and my pc resources installing an antivirus.

Prove me wrong.

@jasongorman To stay with the skyscraper metaphor, it's only the click of a button if quite a bit of work was put in upfront to make it work. Maybe in this case a car is a better metaphor: it is done when it comes out of the factory, but still requires some work to get to you.
