After 12 years of marriage she just realised he was racist. Lol. He was probably racist during courtship. And she still decided to marry him and have kids with him. Now all of a sudden his racist behaviour is bad for the kids.

As usual, any thing that can be used to get sole custody will always come up, even if they tolerated/accepted that thing the entire time of the marriage.

@Spectmo @egi_nupe I thought as much. Meaning you end up in a legal quagmire. That you squatted in a house for 20 years does not necessarily transfer ownership to the squatter.

It does not prevent creditors or banks from putting a lien on that house based on the debt of the original owner.

I am sorry to say. There are some expectations that are based on delusion, an unbalanced focus on bad news, and poor knowledge of history.

If you think that whatever gaps that exist between an African 3rd world country and the only superpower left will be narrowed or closed in your lifetime, you are deluded.

This is not a Nigerian problem per se; it is a black nation/people problem. The only fair comparison to Nigeria is Nigeria of today vs Nigeria of yesterday. Or MAYBE Nigeria vs Kenya, Uganda, or South Africa.

Other black Africans who have followed the same path you mentioned will feel the same way about their home country.
