Day 2 of our capacity building workshop for Refugee Insider Mediators in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement focused on conflict resolution frameworks such as negotiation and mediation. We emphasized their importance as non-adversarial approaches that help preserve social harmony.

We are currently conducting a capacity-building program to strengthen mediation capacities among leaders in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. Day 1 focused on early warning and conflict analysis frameworks to enable them easily identify and manage conflicts before they escalate.

Today in Kasese, we launch a robust dissemination of the resilience rising research report.

The research was conducted in Burkina Faso, Niger, Pakistan, Philippines, Somalia, and Uganda

This comparative study was co-designed by the @KofiAnnanFdn, @SIPRIorg and young researchers from these six nations to explore the intersection of climate change and conflict through the lived experiences of young people.

The dissemination meeting is funded by @fca_uganda @FCA_global and @Ulkoministerio

You are wrong on this, Pepe was put under pressure by the English media because of his price tag which was Arsenal's highest at the time. He scored 27 goals for us. For me he didn't flop. Grealish, was never called a flop by the same media yet he only scored 17 goals during his spell at City in 157 appearances. Though, I agree Pepe didn't perform to the expectations.

Boda-boda riders and landlords are playing an increasingly important role in community safety.

After participating in awareness activities, many riders report choosing non-violence during tense moments, rejecting manipulation for violent acts and working closely with local security structures to report suspicious activities.

As we celebrate the International Women’s Day, in partnership with @180GradWende, we congratulate the female beneficiaries who successfully completed vocational skills training under the CHANCE project and have graduated today.

The ceremony brought together participants who have spent the past months building practical livelihood skills to strengthen their economic independence and resilience. Many of today’s graduates are women whose commitment and persistence reflect the spirit of women taking concrete steps toward shaping their own futures.
