They say baseball is just a sport, but for us, it’s a story.
A story of heritage, resilience, and hope.
On this Indigenous Peoples Day, we honor the generations whose strength built the path we walk today. At Na7ive Na7ions, we’re dedicated to empowering Native youth, helping them rise in sports and in life while staying connected to the culture that grounds us.
To every young athlete stepping up to the plate: your story matters.
To every elder, family, and community: your wisdom lights the way.
Together, we celebrate where we come from and the bright future we’re building.

The first-ever Na7ive Na7ions Tournament brought tribal teams together and World Series legend Luis Gonzalez had some advice for the next generation.
This is more than just a ball game, it is a way to foster growth in the community, providing ways for the kids and their families to have fun, and be who they are.

How many mistakes does it take before you spiral?
Learn how to stay focused, manage emotions, and stay on task, no matter what’s happening in the game.
Week one brought the kind of coaching you can’t find in a playbook. Dr. Alley Dake, a mental performance coach who works with pro athletes, stepped onto our field to help our players level up their brain game. She’s volunteering her time to show our athletes that leadership, focus, and resilience start long before the first pitch ,and last long after the game ends.

Honored to welcome David Z. Bean, former Chairman of the Puyallup Tribe and Vice Chair of the Indian Gaming Association, to the field in Branson. A true advocate for Tribal nations and youth, David has spent decades championing economic growth, cultural strength, and leadership in Indian Country. Grateful he took the time to stand with our team on this journey, lifting up the next generation of leaders through sport and community.
