We are very saddened to report the passing of B. Wayne Hughes who died peacefully today in his home at his beloved Spendthrift Farm with loving family by his side.

From the back of my camera: Mo Mischief finished fourth at @MonmouthPark and jockey Paco Lopez said he simply didn’t like the inside (he was in the 1 hole) and needs to go longer. Still so great to see our First Horse run in person. Thanks to @MyRacehorse and @spendthriftfarm.

As a very minority owner of @ChurchillDowns, I admit I am torn over the news about @Arlington_Park. I’ve made a nice little profit from CHDN, but this lack of support for racing in general troubles me and maybe it’s time to sell and put my money elsewhere.
