North Northumberland Peoples Assembly aims to bring together all those fighting austerity in a broad democratic, action oriented alliance. New members welcome.
It’s no contest. The most dishonest politician of my lifetime. Much, much worse than Johnson.
The liberal media have destroyed any remaining credibility after championing this guy as a pillar of morality.
I’ve never met someone who lies this much.
Starmer violated international and criminal law, and became a participant in genocide, when he claimed Israel had the right to cut off food and water
He knew the risks
His duty was to call a ceasefire
He knew what he was doing
He was doing Israel's bidding
🚨 Labour held Durham Council for a century. Now it's led by Reform.
This is a direct consequence of the politics of the Labour right: cutting welfare, continuing austerity and attacking Party democracy.
Massive congratulations to Michael Lavalette, Alma Razakazi and Yousuf Motala for winning council seats as the Preston Independents!
Shows a strong left wing campaign can win disaffected people away from Reform who did well across the rest of the area. More please!
‘We are now approaching a point of mainstream breakthrough for the populist right in Britain that should, in a sane world, force the Labour Party to rediscover some kind of soulfulness or at least substance as far as its basic political identity goes.’

Labour cut the winter fuel payment - people hated it.
Labour cut Pip - people hated it.
Labour won't tax the rich - people hate it.
Labour won't nationalise water or energy - people hate it.
Yet what's Keir Starmer's response? More of the same.
I'm 63 years old. I've never been so disgusted - & truly scared - at how British public life operates, than I am now when UK Govt supports & enables a GENOCIDE with no opposition from any institution
Lies, cruelty, smears, persecution, support for mass murder - dystopia is here
Charity snubs Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer over constituency office move: Chair of disabled charity trustees says request was 'inappropriate' after welfare benefit cuts | Camden New Journal https://t.co/HgDABhZNcq
"I think the Labour strategy is fundamentally wrong. They're buying into the agenda set by Farage and Reform...
It's a very dangerous cocktail that Farage has put together - and it should be opposed."
Jeremy Corbyn.
The argument that Labour is facing difficult decisions is true. But Labour has chosen to cut welfare and the winder fuel allowance, while increasing funding for the military, giving sweeteners to non-doms and to Big Oil.
It is Labour's choices that are wrong.
Labour losing one of its safest seats shows what happens when a government cuts disability benefits and winter fuel payments, keeps the two-child benefit cap, and panders to anti-migrant rhetoric:
Reform wins and always will.
This isn’t the change people voted for and it shows.
What does "further and faster" change from Labour mean?
The change Labour offers has centred on kicking disabled people and pensioners.
And guess what, the voters hate that change. So probably not a good idea to double down on it!
Starmer’s government have spent their time in power attacking the left, pandering to racist politics, disenfranchising our communities and punching down on the most vulnerable in our society.
Labour have failed to offer hope and this has empowered the far-right Reform.

I try not to be cynical but are UK mainstream media waiting for a steer as to how to cover this latest Israeli abomination? https://t.co/f9fKMM28Ho
A tone deaf response from Labour spokespeople.
We must listen to and heed the message voters have delivered and we must respond to it by changing the lives of working class people for the better with polices that transform the economic situation.
If we do not improve the situation that millions of working class people find themselves in after 14 yrs of austerity, we will be rolling the red carpet out to Reform at the next GE.
I urge the Labour leadership to now truly reflect and change course. If they do not, I genuinely fear the country will face the consequences of a far right government in four years’ time.
